TOP 5 ULTIMATE PARKS/PLAYGROUNDS IN THE LOWER NORTH SHOREWith restrictions eased now is the perfect time to enjoy our local parks and playgrounds. We have compiled a list of our Top 5 Parks and Playgrounds for you to explore in and around the Lower North Shore. 

MEMORY PARK, MOSMAN NSW 
The newly upgraded Memory Park Playground now includes modern equipment catering to children up to 12 years old. The centrepiece is a 7m high multi-level fort that features monkey bars, four slides, jungle gym ropes and so much more. It also caters for the youngsters with a crawler play area, swings and two slides.

BLUES POINT RESERVE, MCMAHONS POINT 
A park that features city views of the harbour and the harbour bridge. What more could you ask for? The reserve features include – a maritime-themed playground for the kids, sprawling fig trees and picnic tables. Attracting locals and tourists of all ages.

GORE HILL PARK, ARTARMON 
Fun for everyone, this park caters for all. It includes two outdoor gym stations, a walking track and a picnic area with barbeques and wheelchair accessible tables. The modern playground is interactive and has a range of equipment to entertain various age groups. From water and sound features to your classic slides and swings this is one that will keep the kids entertained for hours. Not to mention there’s coffee close by! 

LANE COVE NATIONAL PARK
Escape the chaos of metropolitan living at the Lane Cove National Park with expansive bushlands that sit on either side of the Lane Cover River. Several picnic areas, playgrounds, camping sites and cycle/walking paths can also be found.

WATT PARK, LAVENDER BAY 
Picnic tables and pathways, this location is perfect for a relaxing weekend. It is slightly more secluded featuring spectacular views of the harbour and city along with mature and exotic specimen trees. This park also features a  playground that echoes the 1930s play equipment found in the heritage listed park.
