On the move…

On the move…We ALL dread moving house but if you can be ‘uber organised’ it certainly pays off.  
Here are a few tips to help make your move a little less stressful.

1. Make sure you de-clutter before you pack.  Makes it a lot easier at the other end.
2. Start packing in the weeks leading up to your move.  Rarely used items can be packed in advance.
3. Clear your schedule for the day.   Moving house always takes longer than you think.
4. Pack some yummy food/refreshments.  It’s exhausting moving house.  Keep the kettle handy also.
5. Have some cash available for last minute items, like paying the movers, helpers and last minute pizza deliveries.
6. Last but not least... pack yourself an overnight bag with all your essentials for easy access and don't forget to make up a bed on arrival at the new house.   Your tired and exhausted body will thank you for it in the morning.
