It was a perfect sunny Spring day and more than 150 people turned out to the on-site auction of 1a Methuen Ave, Mosman.  Throughout the sales campaign we processed 525 groups, welcomed 229 visitors to the property and with 159 contracts  issued, we suspected we would have a spirited auction. No surprise really as this was a well loved home which had been tightly held by the same family for 50 years. The property’s position and block orientation was highly sought after.

The opening bid was strong - and it just kept going.  Auctioneer Nick Lyell was kept busy with bids coming from every angle plus a narky dive bombing magpie until it was finally down to two parties who both clearly wanted the property.  As always, there is only one winner – a local family who were determined to secure the home.  It was a great spectacle for the crowd who were spread out across the road and the purchaser and sellers were all delighted with the result. 

The combination of a solid marketing campaign, hard work by Gayle and the Croll team has led to our most successful auction so far for 2016. Check out the auction here ....
