Tucked away in a little lane behind McEwans Hardware is a great restaurant called Stranded.  Serving fresh and locally sourced market produce this little find is definitely here to stay.  With a variety of seating outside in it’s sunny cobbled courtyard, its a great diversion from the busy Military Road. In the evening it transforms into a gorgeous softly lit terrace area, complete with live music most weekends. 

Stranded Gourmet is open Wednesday to Sunday for breakfast, lunch and dinner, 8am – 10pm.  Sundays 9am – 10pm.  Phone 9960 3872.   So if you’re feeling hungry, you could actually spend the day working through their menu.  Don’t miss the Buttermilk Pikelets… Delicious!!
